Having some blank screen issues when I boot
September 9th, 2010 6:54p.m. | Reddit (RSS)
I just downloaded Ubuntu and installed it alongside windows on my computer. The install seemed to work fine except when I boot ubuntu there is no output to the monitor whatsoever. My monitor display's the no signal message and goes to sleep. I thought it may have been because I was using the 10.10 beta so I downloaded the previous version and the same thing happened. This problem occurs whether I install it or try to boot from a live cd or usb. I have done a bit of research but none of the suggested work arounds that I have found have been able to help me. Many thanks if you guys can help, and I'm sorry if this is a repeated question.
