About two months ago I became the proud owner of a 2004 Yamaha R6! Previously I had been riding an '02 Honda Shadow (pic) and the change has been a revelation.

When my brothers and I were little we used clothespins and playing cards to make our bikes sound "like motorcycles". We rode our bikes everywhere! One of my younger brothers is an avid dirtbike rider and takes his dirtbike all over the mountains and trails of the east coast.

So if you ever wonder what I do when I'm not programming...

  Thanks -- both for the complement and the advice! It is different, couldn't really even quantify it. I don't think I'll ever want to own another type of bike, though.
